MetLife Stadium (July 26, 2025) — Bournemouth defeated Everton 3-0 after a superior second-half display.
Bournemouth got their PL Summer Series off to a perfect start as they defeated Everton 3-0 in a fantastic performance that saw all goals come in the second half.
The first half saw a lack of creation in front of goals for the Cherries as Everton looked the most likely to score for large portions of the opening 45 minutes. This would not be the case, and the teams would go into the break level.
The second half is where Bournemouth excelled as substitute Phillip Billing scored an excellent goal that nestled in the top right corner. Dango Ouattara followed up on this with a powerful strike of his own from a tough angle.
A mistake from the Everton defence gave Daniel Adu Adjei a golden opportunity to add a third to the Cherries’ tally, which is exactly what he did to cap off a good performance from Andoni Iraola’s side.
